Voluntary Participating. Teacher (VPT)
(a) On a limited basis a short-term match between a Voluntary Participating Teacher and a Consulting Teacher may be made by Joint Panel;
(b) There shall be no written documentation between the Voluntary Participating Teacher, Consulting Teacher, and Joint Committee.
Voluntary Participating. Teacher (VPT) - A teacher who has voluntarily requested, in writing, assistance from an assigned Consulting Teacher through the PAR program in the areas of teaching strategies, methods and instruction, subject matter content, and/or classroom management.
Voluntary Participating. Teacher’s participation in the Program is not legally mandated, therefore the Consulting Teacher nor the Joint Committee will make written reports regarding individual Voluntary Teachers, nor forward to the Board the names of individual Voluntary Teachers who participated in the Program.
Voluntary Participating. Teacher means any permanent bargaining unit member who voluntarily participates in the Peer Assistance Program.
Voluntary Participating. Teacher is any permanent classroom teacher 4 who volunteers to participate in the program for the purpose of 5 obtaining peer assistance from a Consulting Teacher to enhance the 6 quality of instruction in the classroom.
