Common use of Violence Intervention Clause in Contracts

Violence Intervention. The Readington Township Police Department receiving information about a threatened, planned, or intended act of violence pursuant to Article 4.10 of this Agreement agrees to promptly dispatch an officer, or immediately dispatch an officer where the circumstances so warrant, to undertake an investigation and to take such actions as may be appropriate and necessary to prevent the threatened, planned, or intended act of violence from occurring.
