Common use of Venue Clause in Contracts

Venue. 27.1 Except as specified below, the Parties agree that the only proper venue for any judicial or regulatory proceeding involving or arising out of the interpretation or enforcement of this Agreement as it pertains to any state shall be the city in which the state commission that approved the Agreement for that state is located. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Parties agree that the only proper venue in the following states is as follows: Illinois, Chicago; Michigan, Detroit; and Missouri, St. ▇▇▇▇▇.
