Vehicle displays for any proposed vehicle displays on booths, Exhibitors or EACs are required to apply for a temporary vehicle permit with the Clark County Fire Department.
Vehicle displays. Any vehicle or apparatus that has a fuel tank and is part of a display, is required to be equipped with a locking gas cap & can have no more than one third of a tank of gas. Battery cables must be disconnected once the vehicle is in position in the show. The engine cannot be operated during show hours. A vehicle permit is required from the LAFD.
Vehicle displays. Any gasoline powered vehicle displayed, as part of the show or inside a building must have both battery terminals disconnected and the fuel tank opening taped as per fire code regulations. No engines shall be left running inside the facilities other than for movement in and out of the facility.
Vehicle displays. Vehicle displays require a permit from the City of Houston Fire Department. If 15 or more vehicles will be displayed, then standby personnel shall be required for a fire watch. All costs incurred, including an hourly fee and permit, shall be the sole responsibility of Licens ee. (Please consult your Event Manager for further details.)
Vehicle displays. The primary purpose of the vehicle space must be to display a vehicle. Vehicle spaces containing a vehicle for the purpose of displaying/merchandising non-vehicle items are consider regular retail booth spaces and the regular booth registration rates apply.
