Van Drivers Sample Clauses

Van Drivers. All permanent part-time van drivers will be eligible to utilize eight (8) days of personal leave/sick leave per year. A driver “day” is defined as the average route time for each route. The calculation is figured as an average between the Van Advisor time designated by the Transportation Manager’s time study and the actual time worked. This time is multiplied by (8) and rounded to the nearest ½ hour. The same calculation will be used to create holiday hours for drivers. The time is reevaluated each December by the Administrative Manager to ensure changes in routes are reflected in personal and holiday pay. Requests for time off shall be as provided in the Employee Handbook.
