Common use of Validity of instructions Clause in Contracts

Validity of instructions. Unless the Client gives very specific and precise instructions to the contrary and agreed by the Broker, the Client acknowledges that all instructions are good for the day only and that they will lapse at the end of the official trading day of the Exchange or any other exchange. The Client shall inform the Broker that it is a short sale order when a sell order is in respect of Securities which the Client does not own.
