Vacation Leave at Separation. Upon separation from service, the Superintendent shall be entitled to payment for all vacation time currently being carried consistent with subparagraph E, above, not to exceed forty (40) days, at the Superintendent's then-current per diem rate (current salary divided by 260). In the event that the Superintendent separates from the employ of the district between July 1st and September 30th in any year, the Superintendent shall be entitled to payment for earned unused vacation, up to the point of departure, on a prorated basis for the then-current school year. Any payment shall be made within sixty (60) days of the Superintendent's last day of employment
