Common use of Vacation Calendar Clause in Contracts

Vacation Calendar. A. A vacation scheduled shall be established for employees by shift at each week location on a semi-annual basis, and distributed to all employees prior to the start of the semi- annual period. During the first quarter of the sixty (60) calendar day period just prior to the semi-annual period, each employee shall designate the vacation time(s) he/she desires. The supervisor shall ensure that any conflicts are resolved during the second quarter of the sixty (60) calendar day period. B. Vacation requests made after the vacation schedule has been posted may be granted on a first-come, first-serve basis provided there is no interference with the scheduled vacations. Each department head or designee will make every effort to act on vacation requests in a timely manner.
