Utilization of Teaching Assistants. 1. A teaching assistant shall be under the direct supervision and control of a fully certificated teacher when assisting with the instruction. Areas of instruction requiring such supervised assistance shall include, though are not necessarily limited to classrooms, laboratories, shops, playgrounds, lunchroom, organized physical education periods, libraries, if utilized in instructional settings, and such other educational settings where instructional judgment requires the supervision of a fully certificated teacher.
