Common use of Utility Base Map Clause in Contracts

Utility Base Map. The Engineer shall obtain information on existing utilities from utility owners and shall conduct investigations to identify and evaluate all known existing and proposed public and private utilities. The Engineer shall identify potential conflicts and attempt to minimize the potential adverse utility impacts in the preparation of the schematic design.
