Common use of Using Your Card in a Digital Wallet Clause in Contracts

Using Your Card in a Digital Wallet. Once you add a Card to a Digital Wallet on a Compatible Device, you may use the Compatible Device to make payments utilizing the Card at any merchant that accepts the Digital Wallet and Card, subject to your agreement with the Digital Wallet Provider. By selecting an added Card in the Digital Wallet and using a merchant’s contactless-enabled point-of-sale terminal or reader or by using a Card for an in-app or a website purchase, you are authorizing the payment for the applicable merchant’s products or services with that Card in the Digital Wallet. The Digital Wallet may display transaction history, but it does not reflect any post-authorization activities and may not match the actual transaction details that are posted to your Account. A Digital Wallet may not be accepted at all merchants where your Card is otherwise accepted, and your Card may not be eligible for all the features and functionalities offered by the Digital Wallet. Any virtual Card we may issue you that is linked with the Digital Wallet may be, in our sole discretion, automatically updated or upgraded without notice to you. We reserve the right to restrict the use of Cards within a Digital Wallet at any time and for any reason. We may terminate your access to, or use of your Card, with a Digital Wallet at any time and for any reason, including if you violate any of the terms or conditions of these Terms. Some examples of instances where we may take action to restrict or terminate use of your Card in a Digital Wallet include: if we suspect fraud with your Card, you have breached your agreement with us governing the Card, if applicable law changes, or if we are directed to do so by the Digital Wallet Provider or the relevant payment card network. You may remove your Card from a Digital Wallet by following the Digital Wallet Provider’s procedures for removal.

Using Your Card in a Digital Wallet. Once Purchases you add a Card to a make with Digital Wallet using your credit Card or debit Card are governed by the Card Agreement or GMS, respectively. Please review the Card Agreement or GMS, as applicable, for important information on a Compatible Deviceyour rights and responsibilities when making purchases. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your user ID, passcodes and any other means that you may have to access Digital Wallet. If you share those credentials with any other person, they may be able to use your Cards and get access to your personal and payment information in Digital Wallet. If you share your credentials with another person you are authorizing that person to transact on your behalf as if they were an authorized user of your Cards. While we may permit Cards of two different people to be activated on one EMD at your request, we caution you against sharing your EMD and credentials. If your EMD is lost or stolen, your fingerprint identity or other passcode is compromised or your Card has been used through Digital Wallet without your permission, you must notify us immediately by calling (▇▇▇) ▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇. If you fail to notify us without delay, you may be liable for part or all of the losses in connection with any unauthorized use the Compatible Device of your Card in connection with Digital Wallet; see your Card Agreement or GMS for full detail on unauthorized transactions. You acknowledge that your EMD can be used to make payments utilizing the Card at any merchant that accepts the purchases using Digital Wallet without waking the EMD. You agree and Card, subject to your agreement with acknowledge that the transaction history displayed in Digital Wallet Provider. By selecting an added Card in the solely represents our authorization of your Digital Wallet transaction and using a merchant’s contactless-enabled point-of-sale terminal or reader or by using a Card for an in-app or a website purchase, you are authorizing the payment for the applicable merchant’s products or services with that Card in the Digital Wallet. The Digital Wallet may display transaction history, but it does not reflect any post-authorization activities activity, including but not limited to clearing, settlement, foreign currency exchange, reversals, returns or chargebacks. Accordingly, the purchase amount, currency, and other details for your Digital Wallet transaction history in connection with use of your Card in Digital Wallet may be preliminary and may not match the actual transaction details amount that are posted ultimately clears, settles, and posts to your AccountCard’s billing statement. A Your telecommunications carrier or provider may impose internet, data usage or text messaging fees or other charges for your use of Digital Wallet. Devices modified contrary to the manufacturer’s software or hardware guidelines, including by disabling hardware or software controls—sometimes referred to as “jailbreaking”—are not EMDs. You acknowledge that the use of a modified device to use your Card in connection with Digital Wallet may not be accepted at all merchants where your Card is otherwise acceptedexpressly prohibited, constitutes a violation of this Digital Wallet Agreement and your Card may not be eligible Agreement or GMS, and is grounds for all the features and functionalities offered by the us to deny your access to your Cards through Digital Wallet.
