User Acceptance Process. The acceptance process where Applications are installed on Verisk’s Managed Services is as follows, unless otherwise agreed in a relevant SOW:
User Acceptance Process. Where Client hosts the Application, the process in the table below applies. Where the Application is installed on Sequel’s Managed Service, the process detailed in Sequel’s Managed Service Schedule shall apply in place of this: 1. UAT Pre-requisites a) Client staff are adequately trained and informed and test data is available to perform the testing ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇) Provide a suitable environment on which the Application can be installed Client c) Provide media, release notes and a release manifest which will enable the installation of the Application and instructions on how the installation should be carried out Sequel d) Install the Application on any additional required environments Client e) Provide instructions on how the Application database can be backed up and restored/ roll back Sequel f) Confirmation of users and configuration required to successfully verify the application Both g) Prepare UAT data inputs – such as external messages Both h) Plan windows for upgrade/fix Sequel i) Agree approach to defect/issue classification Both 2. UAT planning a) Confirm resource requirements to ensure that acceptance tests are carried out in line with the Project Plan ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇) Perform high level release check of the test environment Both c) Provide a high level demonstration of the new functionality delivered in this release Sequel d) Confirm acceptance of the installation Client 3. UAT a) Carry out acceptance tests and document all results ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇) Client will notify Sequel in writing within one Working Day of an acceptance test failure and the reasons for the rejection including the supply of data, examples and repeatable steps for Sequel to reproduce the test results.
