Use of Prestige of Office. (1) An official or employee may not intentionally use the prestige of office or public position for the private gain of that official or employee or the private gain of another.

Use of Prestige of Office. No county officials or employees subject to this subtitle shall intentionally use the prestige of their office for their own gain or that of another. The performance of usual and customary constituent services without additional compensation does not constitute the use of prestige of office for an official or employee's private gain or that of another.
