Use of Association Business Leave. 21 a) ASSOCIATION President 22 23 (1) The ASSOCIATION President may use ABL for any lawful activity consistent with 24 the ASSOCIATION’S purposes, except as specifically prohibited by this AGREEMENT. 25 26 (2) The ASSOCIATION President may be permitted up to 2080 hours of ABL per 27 year.   • FORMATION OF ASSOCIATION 12.2.1 The Promoter shall, in accordance with Applicable Laws, call upon the respective apartment owners to form an association (“ASSOCIATION”), and it shall be incumbent upon the Allottee to join the Association as a member and for this purpose also from time to time sign and execute the application for registration and/or membership and the other papers and documents necessary for the same. The Allottee shall pay the necessary subscription and/or membership amounts, together with the proportionate costs and expenses for (i) formation of the Association, and (ii) transfer of the Common Areas to the Association, including but not limited to stamp duty and registration costs, if any. The Allottee hereby authorizes the Promoter to take all necessary steps in this connection on his/her/their/its behalf, and further the Allottee shall comply with and/or adhere to all the Applicable Laws and all the rules, regulations, guidelines, etc. formulated from time to time by the Association.

  • Local Union Business Leave The Hospital agrees to grant leaves of absence without pay to local bargaining unit members for the purpose of attending Union seminars and/or attending to Union business. The cumulative total leave of absence will be determined locally, but shall not exceed forty (40) days per year per hospital. The amount of notice required and the number of employees who may be absent at any one time and from any one area shall be determined locally and will be set out in the Local Provisions Appendix.

  • Leave for Association Business The Hospital agrees to grant leaves of absence, without pay, to nurses selected by the Association to attend Association business including conferences, conventions and Provincial Committee meetings and to any nurse elected to the position of Local Co-ordinator. The cumulative total leave of absence, the amount of notice, the number of nurses that may be absent at any time from one area and the number of days (including those of the Local Co-ordinator) is set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions. During such leave of absence, a nurse's salary and applicable benefits or percentage in lieu of fringe benefits shall be maintained by the Hospital and the local Association agrees to reimburse the Hospital in the amount of the daily rate of the full-time nurse or in the amount of the full cost of such salary and percentage in lieu of fringe benefits of a part-time nurse except for Provincial Committee meetings which will be reimbursed by the Association. The Hospital will bill the local Association within a reasonable period of time. Part-time nurses will receive service and seniority credit for all leaves granted under this Article.

  • Union Business Leave 1. The five members of the Union Negotiating Committee shall be granted leave from duty with full pay for all meetings between the Board, or its representatives, and the Union for the purpose of negotiating the terms of a contract, when such meetings take place at a time when such members are scheduled to be at work.

  • Business Leave Each teacher shall be allowed five (5) days per year non-accumulative, deducted from sick leave allowance, for employee absence due to emergency, business, professional, household, or personal matters that cannot be attended to outside of working hours. Xxxxxxxx to and in accordance with all the applicable provisions of Act 176 of the Public Acts of 1939 and Act 336 of the Public Acts of 1947, as amended, EMU does hereby recognize the Association as the certified exclusive collective bargaining representative for all teaching Faculty employed by Eastern Michigan University, including professors, associate professors, assistant professors, instructors, media service managers*, coach/teachers* and librarians with Faculty rank; and excluding Deans, Directors, Department Heads and other supervisory employees, lecturers, visiting professors, adjunct professors, non-tenure track academic employees, career army personnel in the Department of Military Science, and all other employees. *In accordance with MERC cases #R75J-427 and R76A-1.

  • Leave of Absence for Employees Who Serve as Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association An employee who serves as Local Coordinator for the Ontario Nurses' Association shall be granted leave of absence without pay up to a total of thirty-five (35) days annually. Leave of absence for Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association will be separate from the Union leave provided in (a) above.
