When its Project involves public transportation operations and is supported with funding made available or appropriated for 49 U.S.C. §§ 5307, 5309, 5312, 5337, or 5339, as amended by MAP-21, or former 49 U.S.C. §§ 5308, 5309, 5312, or other provisions of law as required by the Federal Government, U.S. DOL must provide a Certification of employee protective arrangements before FTA may provide funding for the Project.
