Common use of Urine Drug Screen Clause in Contracts

Urine Drug Screen. It is the policy of the hospital to screen for the use of illegal controlled substances by new hired/appointed physicians at the time of their pre-placement assessments. Illegal substances are listed in various Federal, State and local laws. These include but are not limited to marijuana, hashish, heroin, hallucinogens like PCP (angel’s dust), LSD and cocaine. Urine drug screen is done by the Occupational Health Center in accordance with the existing policy and procedures of the Human Resources Department.
