Common use of Upon Delivery Clause in Contracts

Upon Delivery. Upon delivery of the Goods the Subcontractor shall: (a) inspect the number, quantity and condition of the Goods and, should there be any discrepancy with what was accepted for carriage, both forthwith advise the Contractor of that discrepancy and record details of the discrepancy on the manifest and on any other document required by the Contractor; (b) obtain the receipt of the person entitled to delivery on the manifest and any other document required by the Contractor and return such manifest and any other document to the Contractor as soon as is reasonably practicable.
