Unit Defined. Each position of employment shall be included within a negotiating unit established in accordance with the criteria set forth in Section 207 of the Civil Service Law: provided, however that nothing herein contained shall authorize including the chief school administrator, the deputy, assistant or associate chief school administrator, and casual and temporary employees within a negotiating unit. Unit defined: All professionally certified personnel employed by the Board, whether or not they shall actually be engaged in classroom instruction, exclusive of principals, Chairperson of Special Education/Director of Special Education, Curriculum Coordinator/Chief Information Officer, and Teacher Assistants, shall be included within the Instructional Negotiating Unit.
