Common use of Union Responsibility Clause in Contracts

Union Responsibility. The Union will use its best efforts to prevent any violation of this Section and to stop any violation if one occurs. If there is a violation of this Section, the Union will publicly denounce the strike and will provide the City with written notice that the strike is not authorized, is in violation of this Agreement, and is not to be honored. If the Union carries out its obligations under this Section, it shall have no financial liability for the violation.
