UNION DUES AND SECURITY. 4.01 Effective from the first day of employment, the Employer will deduct from the pay of all employees, an amount equal to the monthly dues as authorized by the Union. This sum shall be deducted from the last pay of the month and remitted to the NATIONAL SECRETARY- TREASURER of the Union prior to the end of the month in which the deductions were made, and accompanied by the names, amounts, addresses, and classifications of employees from whose wages the deductions have been made. The list shall also indicate whether an employee is full-time or part-time. A copy of this list will also be forwarded to the Secretary of the Local Union. Monthly, as they become known to the Employer, changes of address will be listed. The Union agrees to keep the Employer advised as to the name and address of the National Secretary-Treasurer in Ottawa, and the amount of the dues deduction to be made. 4.02 The Employer shall indicate on the employee’s T-4 income tax slips the amount of the union dues deducted from their pay during the tax year.
