Common use of Union Deduction Authorization Form Clause in Contracts

Union Deduction Authorization Form. each new employee when hired by the Employer shall be required to sign the “Application for Membership” form” (supplied by the Union). Concurrently, the employee will also sign the back of the Application for Membership form titled “Obligation”, which shall be the Employer’s authority to deduct from the employee’s wages, at the direction of the Union, all dues, initiation fees, fines and assessments in accordance with the terms of this agreement as a condition of their continued employment within the Bargaining Unit. The Union will provide all completed forms to the Employer, which shall remain in effect during the term of an employee’s employment within the Bargaining Unit.
