Common use of Underground Storage Clause in Contracts

Underground Storage. Tank (UST): Shall have the meaning as contained in A.R.S. § 49-1001(18) and any definition shown herein is superseded by the current statutory definition. (UST means a tank or combination of tanks and underground pipes connected to tanks being used or having been used to contain regulated substances and which has at least ten percent (10%) of the total volume of the tank and underground portions of pipes connected to the tank underground. Exceptions to this definition are listed in the statutory regulation.) 2.19.25.1 UST Closure: The removal of an UST from operation.
