Common use of Tutoring Services Clause in Contracts

Tutoring Services. The Contractor shall provide high dosage virtual tutoring services to CCPS district students or sites. All services will be performed 100% virtually. Tutors are expected to assist students in reaching their educational goal(s), provide academic assistance as determined by CCPS. Examples may include daily homework, regular class assignments and projects, assistance with writing assignments, subject level test preparation, and college entrance subject level test preparation (i.e., SAT, and ACT), and/or work with students on additional content as determined by the Teaching & Learning department. Tutors will also collaborate with the classroom teacher, as appropriate, for progress monitoring, instructional planning and decision making. CCPS will utilize one on one and small group sessions throughout the contract as determined by the T&L Department. The Contractor’s platform will accommodate individual students and small group learning sessions, including the scheduling of regular tutoring sessions during the school day with a consistent group of students. Additionally, the Contractor shall be able to work with a variety of student populations, including both struggling and high achieving students, English Language Learners, and students with disabilities.
