Tuberculosis Testing. The Tuberculosis test (also called a PPD or Mantoux, and similar to a Tine test) is designed to find those individuals who have been exposed to, and carry the bacterium that causes tuberculosis, but are not yet sick.
Tuberculosis Testing. In the event that District’s employees and/or representatives will come into contact with LACOE students or staff the District’s employees/representatives must have a current tuberculosis (TB) assessment to determine that the employee is free from active tuberculosis as required by Education Code Section 49406. Those employees whose TB screening test is reactive (positive) shall be required to submit a chest x-ray and a radiological report to rule out active TB.
Tuberculosis Testing. 1. Each teacher shall comply with the ministry requirement and policy statement of the Ministry of Health as adopted by the Northern Health Authority.

Tuberculosis Testing. In order to obtain the tuberculosis test, and to secure the results, the employee may have to be absent from his/her work assignment. If this is necessary, release time shall be granted to the employee. The District will pay for one (1) X-ray each four years for employees requiring such a test.

Reading Partners staff will provide details on testing locations and reimbursement procedures if needed. You understand that if you have a positive result you will not be able to tutor.
Tuberculosis Testing. When an employees’ classification requires tuberculosis testing the required testing shall be done during work time and the County shall bear the cost of any out-of-pocket expense for said test, including chest x-rays, if necessary.
