Transportation Classification. Where there is a reduction of one quarter (1/4) hour or more in the hours worked in the Transportation Classification, an employee may claim seniority over any other employee for the purpose of maintaining one's normal work schedule, provided he/she is qualified and has more seniority than the employee he/she seeks to replace. No reductions of one quarter (1/4) hour or more shall take effect until the Employer gives a three day written notice to the employee involved. Should the reduction be one hour or more, the supervisor shall give a fifteen (15) day written notice to the employee involved.
Transportation Classification. 43 Personnel in the Transportation classification are recognized to present special shift problems, hence 44 the parties agree that shift assignments shall be established in the Transportation classification in 45 relation to daily routes and driving times requisite to meet schedules assigned by the Supervisor of 46 Transportation and in keeping with the following provisions.

A person returning after a 47 year-long leave will take the least senior route until new routes are bid on or before October 15th.
