Common use of Transit Maintenance Clause in Contracts

Transit Maintenance. Lessee shall be responsible for the performance of all transit maintenance of the Aircraft which shall include a visual check of the aircraft exterior prior to all take-offs with particular attention to any fluid leaks, repair or replacement of worn or flat tires or low shock struts, rectification of any discrepancies noted in the aircraft logbook, and the repair or deferral under the Minimum Equipment List for the Aircraft of all malfunctions affecting airworthiness.
