Transformer Foundations. The transformer will be installed on a cast-in-place concrete pad supported on a cast-in-place concrete mat foundation. The foundation shall be placed on compacted structural fill on sound subgrade with the bottom of foundation below frost depth. The transformer and transformer pad shall be enclosed in a concrete water- tight oil containment pit capable of holding 100% of the transformer oil.
