Transfers and Withdrawals Section. 4.01 A transfer of funds may be directed from one Subaccount to another Subaccount or to the Fixed Account. A transfer of Account Value may be directed from the Fixed Account to one or more Subaccounts of the Variable Account, subject to the limitations described in Section 4.03. A transfer request may be in writing, or by telephone provided we have received the appropriate authorization from you. Amounts transferred to the Subaccount(s) will purchase Accumulation Units as described in Section 3.08. There may not be more than one transfer in any 30 day period. We reserve the right to further limit the number of transfers. There is no charge for a transfer. However, we reserve the right to impose a charge in the future for any transfers. Transfers after the Annuity Commencement Date will be subject to the provisions of Section 6.10.

The Master Servicer may clear and terminate the Master Servicer Collection Account pursuant to Section 10.01 and remove amounts from time to time deposited in error.
