TRANSACTION DATE. The term "Transaction Date" means (a) the Business Day on which Equitable receives a Contribution or an acceptable written or telephone request for a transaction at its Processing Office, or (b) the Business Day coinciding with or next following the date specified in the request, if later; provided, however, that if such Contribution or request reaches the Processing Office on other than a Business Day, or after the close of the Business Day, the Transaction Date will be the next following Business Day.
