The Training Assignment clause outlines the obligations and procedures related to assigning training responsibilities within an agreement. Typically, it specifies which party is responsible for providing training, the scope and format of the training (such as in-person sessions, online modules, or written materials), and any timelines or standards that must be met. This clause ensures that all parties are clear on who must deliver or receive training, thereby promoting effective knowledge transfer and reducing misunderstandings about training expectations.
Training Assignment. Alternate Duty assignments are trainee positions at job sites to 18 be identified by Human Resources after a thorough review of the employee’s job history, 19 qualifications, and physical limitations. Positions such as clerk typist, data entry and 20 teachers’ assistants are some of the possible opportunities for Alternate Duty training.
Training Assignment. In the event in-house applicants for a vacant position do not meet the minimum knowledge, skills and abilities qualifications in the class specification, the Agency may develop an on- the-job training assignment to allow an otherwise acceptable candidate with an acceptable performance appraisal and no department disciplinary action on file to qualify. Such assignments are subject to the following guidelines:
Training Assignment. 8 (A) A minimum of two (2) Fire Captains shall be assigned to the Training 9 Division to serve as Training Captains. Filling the Training Captain 10 positions shall be on a seniority basis in accordance with Article 28.
Training Assignment. 23 (A) Employees assigned to the Training Division shall be paid 100% of their 24 converted 56-hour wage to include premium wages, hours in Article 14 Section 25 14.02(B), and differential pay. 26 (B) Employees assigned to the Training Division will not have their 56-hour 27 accruals or banks converted. Employees assigned to the Training Division will 28 continue to accrue holidays as if they were still working the 56-hour workweek.

Training Assignment. Management has the right to assign, in writing, an employee to train
12 4.8.1 The employee submits a timely request for training pay under this section. 13 Requests should be submitted consistent with department policies and procedures, and if possible 14 should be submitted within the pay period in which the training time is worked;
15 4.8.2 The training employee must be part of the evaluation process for the trainee, and;
16 4.8.3 Leads, and those whose primary job duty is training, are not eligible for this 17 premium.
Training Assignment. The employee attends courses, seminars, conferences, information exchange visits and similar training events to upgrade his job knowledge and skills. The following conditions will apply to Training Assignments:

Training Assignment. An employee assigned by the Chief of Police to a training assignment will receive Sixty Dollars ($60.00) per day for the duration of the assignment. The length of such assignment shall be determined by the Chief of Police.
