TRAINEES/APPRENTICES. The Parties agree that there is a need to ensure qualified Operators are available. To that end, a joint committee of management and the Union shall be formed to initiate discussions on the process of utilizing Trainees and Apprentices in order to achieve the objective. Such discussion shall include the ratio of Trainees to Journeypersons, rates of pay and other pertinent issues.
TRAINEES/APPRENTICES. The provisions of relevant Northern Territory legislation and associated regulations shall be observed in respect of the employment and training of trainees/apprentices employed in the N.T. Government Printing Office.
TRAINEES/APPRENTICES. Notwithstanding anything elsewhere contained in this Schedule, the University may employ trainees in accordance with the order for Apprentices and Trainees Wages and Conditions (Excluding Certain Queensland Government Entities) 2003 or any other replacement order.

27.02 Any apprentice, who, as a requirement of their apprenticeship attends school, shall be paid regular wages by the Employer, based on a forty (40) hour work week, while attending school. This pay shall also apply for a maximum of ten (10) weeks appropriate for trade in each calendar year and the amount of any Government grant received by such apprentice shall be deducted.
TRAINEES/APPRENTICES. Trainees and Apprentices shall receive their basic rate of pay provided for under the National Trading Award Wage 2000 or by the Australian Fair Pay Commission. All trainees and Apprentices shall receive payment for all tool allowances applicable to the Apprentices training or apprenticeship. Protected Award Conditions specifically excluded from this Agreement, include but are not limited to the following matters:
(a) Rest breaks (note all Employees shall receive rest breaks in accordance with Clause 10.5);
(b) Incentive based payments and bonuses (note the Employer may choose to provide you with additional benefits, see Clause 5.2 of this Agreement);
(c) Annual leaving loading (this Clause is dealt with under Clause 14.1.6);
(d) Observance of days declared by or under a law of a State or Territory to be observed generally within that State or Territory, or a region of that State or Territory, as public holidays by employees who work in that State, Territory or region and entitlements of Employees to payment in respect of these days (Employees are entitled to be paid at double time where required to work on Public Holidays at the workshop, see Clause 12.2(c));
(e) Days to be substituted for, or procedures for substituting, days referred to in paragraph (d);
(f) Monetary allowances for:
(i) Expenses incurred in the course of employment; or
(ii) Responsibilities or skills that are not taken into account in rates of pay for Employees; or
(iii) Disabilities associated with the performance of particular tasks or work, in particular, conditions or locations; (note Employee is entitled to $9.00 per hour allowance in accordance with Clause 11.2)
(g) Loading and rates for work in overtime or for shift work (please refer to Clause 12);
(h) Penalty rates (please refer to Clause 12);
(i) Working conditions.
TRAINEES/APPRENTICES. The City may engage employees under traineeship/apprenticeship arrangements on temporary contract which shall be subject to applicable Western Australian training legislation.
