Trail Surface Clause Samples

Trail Surface. The base of the trail must consist of a minimum of 4 inches of breaker run (3”-6”) for the entire length of the trail. The entire base of the trail must be compacted. The final top dressing should be 2 inches of gravel or recycled asphalt and compacted.
Trail Surface. The Levee Trailhead and the parking areas serving the same, if any, shall be maintained by the City and inspected periodically for repairs as necessary to keep the Levee Trailhead in a suitable condition for recreational use by the general public. Repairs such as crack filling and Levee Trailhead surface replacement shall be completed by the City in order to keep the Levee Trailhead in a suitable condition for recreational use by the general public. All repairs must be pre-approved by, and coordinated with, the Levee District.
Trail Surface. At minimum, the Trail surface will be upgraded to “A” gravel to accommodate all users. “A” gravel will reduce the dust on the Trail and provide a smoother ride for cyclists. The surface shall be improved as funding permits.
