Common use of TOWER LIGHTING Clause in Contracts

TOWER LIGHTING. Item 5(a)3 - Provide bucket truck, capable of reaching canopy on 100 foot High Mast Lamppost. The Contractor shall furnish all labor and material necessary for the proper maintenance of tower lighting (excluding high mast shaft). This includes lowering mechanism, complete with pulley (including steel cable), brake and clutch. 4.56.1 Under this item, the Contractor shall periodically inspect the lowering and/or locking mechanism to ensure proper operation and lubricate and/or adjust when necessary and must repair or replace all defective doors and locks under this item. Such inspection must be performed every three (3) months and in the presence of the EIU with written reports submitted to NYCDOT. The Contractor must perform all necessary Work as part of this item. 4.56.2 The following is a partial list of locations with High Mast lampposts:  Roosevelt Island

Under this item, the Contractor shall periodically inspect the lowering and/or and or locking mechanism to ensure proper operation and lubricate and/or and or adjust when necessary and must repair or replace all defective doors and locks under this item. Such inspection must be performed every three (3) months and in the presence of the EIU SL personnel with written reports submitted to NYCDOTSL.
