The Tornado Warning clause establishes procedures and responsibilities in the event that a tornado warning is issued during the course of a project or event. Typically, this clause outlines the steps that must be taken to ensure the safety of all personnel, such as suspending work, seeking shelter, and communicating with relevant authorities. Its core practical function is to protect individuals and property by ensuring a clear, coordinated response to tornado threats, thereby minimizing risk and potential harm.
Tornado Warning. The Residence Hall Director has an Emergency Broadcast System Unit for receiving messages and directions pertaining to emergencies. Residents will be alerted by the fire alarm system. Procedures to be followed for Tornado Warnings will be posted in each residence hall.
Tornado Warning. A tornado has been sighted by weather radar. Speed and direction of travel are given, even though history tells us most tornadoes travel in a northeastern direction. If this is issued for the area surrounding Skyhaven Airport, the AEP shall be initiated either on a limited basis or in its entirety. The Airport Shall: a. Maintain continuous weather watch during all periods of inclement weather utilizing: 1) NOAA. and NWS Services 2) FSS when available 3) Atmospheric sensors measuring air temperature, dew point, wind direction, wind velocity, and precipitation. b. Keep key airport personnel, fueling operations, and airport tenants advised of severe weather forecasts, updates, and alerts. c. Check main ramp tie-downs to make certain they are as secure as they can be. d. Check hangars to ensure that all doors are closed and latched down.

  • Windstorm or hail This peril does not include loss to the property contained in a building caused by rain, snow, sleet, sand or dust unless the direct force of wind or hail damages the building causing an opening in a roof or wall and the rain, snow, sleet, sand or dust enters through this opening. This peril includes loss to watercraft and their trailers, furnishings, equipment, and outboard engines or motors, only while inside a fully enclosed building.

  • Sabotage (a) Sabotage is of concern to all Parties involved on any work site and may affect safety, and therefore both the physical and mental wellbeing of all persons on site. (b) The Parties to this Agreement will not tolerate sabotage and will ensure that any person/s responsible for such action is immediately dismissed. (c) It is accepted that the relevant authorities may have to be notified, and provisions of the OH&S Act implemented. (d) In the event of a reasonable suspicion or proven sabotage consultation will occur between the Parties on a reasonable time frame up to a maximum of 4 hours to rectify the issue prior to Employees leaving the Project.

  • Weather User understands and agrees that during the term of this agreement, User will strictly adhere to the Weather Protocols set forth in the Grand Park Emergency Management Plan. The Grand Park Emergency Management Plan is made available on the Grand Park website or by request a copy may be provided by the Commission. In the event of inclement weather, the Commission will retain final determination as to the ability of the facility to support the Event. a. If the facility is unable to support the event due to an "Act of God" the Commission will not provide a refund or credit to the User. User may obtain event insurance through a vendor of their choosing to cover the "Act of God" scenario. b. If the facility is deemed unable to support the event by the Commission, the Commission will work with the User to reschedule such activity as was affected by the facility closure. In such case that the activity may not be rescheduled, Commission will credit the User for such activity as was affected by the closure and allow the credit to be utilized toward a future event. c. If the facility is deemed unable to support the event by the User, the Commission will work with the User to reschedule such activity as was affected within the general time constraints of the User's Event. In such case that the activity may not be rescheduled, Commission will not credit the User.

  • Pandemic An epidemic that spreads over a wide area, crossing borders and defined as a pandemic by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and/or by the competent local authorities of the country where the loss occurred. Isolation of the person, in the event of suspected illness or proven illness, decided by a competent local authority, in order to avoid a risk of spreading said illness in the context of an epidemic or pandemic.

  • DISTURBANCES Tenant and all other occupants will be required to vacate the premises and forfeit the rental fee and security deposit for any of the following: Occupancy exceeding the agreed upon number people, using the premises for any illegal activity, causing damage to the premises rented or to any of the neighboring properties and any other acts which interferes with neighbors' right to quiet enjoyment of their premises. HOLD HARMLESS iTrip or the Owner, does not assume any liability for loss, damage or injury to persons or their personal property. Neither does owner accept any liability for any inconveniences, damage, loss or injury arising from any temporary defects or stoppage in supply of water, gas, cable service, electricity or plumbing, as well as due to weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God, or other reasons beyond its control.
