to 4. In the case where the teacher designated as District Principal is in receipt of an allowance under Article 4 – Administration Allowances, the teacher shall be paid the higher of the applicable allowance in effect at the time of the appointment as District Principal or an allowance equal to the Base Administration Allowance.
