Common use of TITLE VI Clause in Contracts

TITLE VI. The City of Port Orchard, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 00 Xxxx. 000, 00 X.X.X. 0000x to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, nondiscrimination in federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, must affirmatively insure that its contracts comply with these regulations. Therefore, during the performance of this Agreement, the Consultant, for itself, its assignees, and successors in interest agrees as follows:
