Time Off Without Pay. Time off without pay for whatever purpose may be granted by agreement between the Employer and the Caregiver.

Time Off Without Pay. An employee may take up to a maximum of five (5) working days off without pay per year (July 1 – June 30) with the approval of the Director of Facilities. Employees of the Company who are officers of the Union or duly authorized representatives of such officers, shall be given time off without pay on request to take care of Union business provided reasonable notice is given to the immediate supervisor and further that the employee's absence will not seriously interfere with communication service. Time Off Without Pay. A. 1. The purpose of Time Off Without Pay is to balance the workforce during periods of overstaffing at a specific domicile or throughout the system and to minimize Flight Attendant furloughs. The Company shall not staff in order to provide TOWOP under any circumstances.
Time Off Without Pay. Time off without pay, other than approved leaves of absence without pay, may be used in lieu of ETO only when scheduled in advance, and approved by the bargaining unit member’s supervisor/manager/director.
