Time Limits for Assignments Above. 1. The maximum length of the Detective Bureau Rotational assignment shall be five (5) years per employee, unless extended by the Police Chief or his designee. 2. No Police Officer may be temporarily assigned to a Detective Bureau Rotational assignment unless the current total authorized (T/O) strength is filled. 3. Any officer temporarily assigned to a Detective Bureau Rotational assignment shall not serve more than twelve (12) months.
