TIME IN TRANSIT. 9.11.1. Time for driving a truck from the point of pickup to the job and time to drive a truck to the point the truck is to be left after work shall be considered time worked and paid for at the applicable rate of straight time or overtime pay. 9.11.2. If an employee is left stranded away from his transportation, his pay shall continue until he is returned to his place of starting but in no event shall he be paid more than eight (8) hours pay at the straight time rate for each twenty-four (24) hour period away from his starting place.
TIME IN TRANSIT. Section 26.1. Employees who are required to report to a work location other than that to which he/she is regularly assigned and employees attending mandatory workshops or seminars shall be paid for time in transit, which shall include time other than normal work hours if the employee is traveling by motor vehicle. Section 26.2. Employees who attend non-mandatory workshops or seminars shall be paid for time in transit during normal hours. Time in transit other than during normal hours shall be paid only if previously approved in writing by the Director or Assistant Director.
