A "Tier" clause defines different levels or categories within a contract, often used to distinguish varying degrees of service, pricing, or obligations. In practice, this clause might specify that certain benefits, responsibilities, or fees apply depending on which tier a party falls into, such as basic, premium, or enterprise levels. The core function of a Tier clause is to clearly delineate the rights and duties associated with each level, ensuring both parties understand what is expected or provided at each tier and reducing ambiguity in the contractual relationship.
Tier. The undersigned Participating Member hereby designates the following desired tier under the above-referenced Premier Purchasing Partners, L.P. Group Purchasing Agreement:
Tier. 1 Allowances: When a project is determined by a PQI to qualify as a Tier 1 Allowance, the project is documented to the file using the Streamlined Project Review form (Appendix C).
