Common use of Third Consideration Clause in Contracts

Third Consideration. Where the vacancy continues to exist, applicants will be considered in this order: i. Permanent employees with seniority then, ii. Contract employees that have completed their applicable waiting period as described in Article 5.02(a), then, iii. Part time probationary employees that have not yet completed their applicable probationary period as described in Article 3.01 and 5.02 (a) applying for a full-time position in the same job, then, iv. Contract employees that have not yet completed their applicable waiting period as described in Article 5.02(a) in the same job, then, v. all other applicants (including external, non-bargaining, former and retired employees)
