Common use of The Referral List Clause in Contracts

The Referral List. The Union will maintain and provide the Employer a Referral List of qualified individuals as well as the positions for which each is qualified. Inclusion of an individual on the Referral List constitutes a representation by the Union that it has examined the experience and qualifications of that individual and has determined that the person is qualified to perform the jobs indicated. The Union will accept to the Referral List all qualified employees of the Employer without discrimination of any kind and regardless of Union membership.
