The Recommendation Paper Clause Samples
The Recommendation Paper clause establishes the requirement for one party to prepare and submit a formal document outlining their recommendations on a specific matter. Typically, this clause details the scope, format, and timeline for delivering the recommendation paper, and may specify the criteria or standards the recommendations must address. Its core practical function is to ensure that informed, structured advice is provided in a timely manner, supporting decision-making and clarifying expectations between the parties involved.
The Recommendation Paper. (a) Following the process in subclause 9.4.2, the University will issue documentation that sets out any changes recommended and the rationale for such changes (the Recommendation Paper). Employees who may be directly affected and the union(s) will be issued with a copy of the Recommendation Paper and will have an opportunity to comment on the recommendation(s).
(b) The relevant union(s) will be involved in negotiating the implementation of any changes contained in the Recommendation Paper that will affect the employment conditions of employees.

Employees who may be directly affected and the union will be issued with a copy of the Recommendation Paper and will have an opportunity to comment on the recommendation(s).
(b) As a result of the implementation of any recommendation resulting in changes referred to in subclause 9.2.1(a), any matter regarding the particular employment conditions of an employee directly affected will be negotiated with that employee. The employee may request that the union be involved those negotiations.
