Common use of Termination for Convenience of County Clause in Contracts

Termination for Convenience of County. County may terminate this Contract at any time by providing a notice in writing to Contractor that the Contract is terminated. Said Contract shall then be deemed terminated and no further work shall be performed by Contractor. If the Contract is so terminated, the Contractor shall be paid for that percentage of the phase of work actually completed, based on a pro rata portion of the compensation for said phase satisfactorily completed at the time of notice of termination is received.

Termination for Convenience of County. County may terminate this Contract at any time by providing a notice in writing to Contractor that the Contract is terminated. If the Contract is so terminated, the Contractor shall be paid for that percentage of the phase of work actually completed, based on a pro rata portion of the compensation for said phase satisfactorily completed at the time of the notice of termination is received.

Said Contract shall then be deemed terminated and no further work shall be performed by Contractorwriting. If the Contract is so terminated, the Contractor shall be paid for that percentage of the phase of work actually completed, based on a pro rata portion of the compensation for said phase satisfactorily completed at the time of notice of termination is receivedeffective.

County or Contractor may terminate this Contract at any time upon thirty (30) days written notice by providing a notice in writing to Contractor that the Contract is terminated.
