Common use of Termination by the Executive Clause in Contracts

Termination by the Executive. The Executive may voluntarily terminate his employment upon hereunder at any time after the Effective Date by giving at least 30 days' advance written notice to the Company and thirty days prior notice of intention to terminate. The Company may designate any day within the thirty-day notice period as Executive's last day of active employment. If the day so designated by the Company is less than thirty days from the date the Executive provides notice of intention to terminate, the Company will pay the Executive for the earned but unpaid portion balance of the Executive's Basic Salary through the Termination Date. If the Executive gives notice of termination hereunder, the Company shall have the right to relieve the Executive, in whole or in part, of his duties under this Agreement and to advance the Termination Date from the date set by the Executive's notice to a date not less than 14 days from the receipt of the Executive's notice of terminationthirty days.

Termination by the Executive.
