PURPOSE AND INTENT The general purpose of the Agreement is to set forth terms of conditions of employment, and to promote orderly and peaceful labor relations for the mutual interest of the Employer, the employees and the Union. The parties recognize that the interest of the community and the job security of the employees depends upon the Employer’s success in establishing a proper service to the community. To these ends the Employer and the Union encourage to the fullest degree friendly and cooperative relations between the respective representatives at all levels and among all employees. RECOGNITION
NOW THEREFORE THE PARTIES AGREE AS FOLLOWS (3) The Employer –
Purpose and Scope of the Agreement The scope of this Agreement is to set out the rules, terms and principles according to which each Partner shall commit himself on the following points:
Correlation and Intent It is the intention of the Owner, Design Professional, and Contractor that the Construction Documents include all items necessary for proper execution and full and final completion of the Work. The Contract and Construction Documents (the Contract Documents) are complementary, and what is required by one is as binding as if required by all. Performance by the Contractor is required to the extent consistent with and reasonably inferable from the Contract Documents as being necessary to produce the design intent as expressed in the Contract Documents. The intention of the Owner and the Design Professional is that the Contract and Construction Documents include all labor and materials, equipment, and transportation necessary for the proper execution of the work. It is not intended, however, that materials or work not covered by or properly inferable from any heading, branch, class, or trade of the specifications shall be supplied unless noted on the drawings.
Sole purpose of the Concessionaire The Concessionaire having been set up for the sole purpose of exercising the rights and observing and performing its obligations and liabilities under this Agreement, the Concessionaire or any of its subsidiaries shall not, except with the previous written consent of the Authority, be or become directly or indirectly engaged, concerned or interested in any business other than as envisaged herein.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED AS FOLLOWS 1.1 The Disclosing Party intends providing the Receiving Party with certain information relating to [state the nature of the discussions and the reason for the disclosure here] (“the Project”).
PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF AGREEMENT 1.01 The purpose of this Agreement is to maintain harmonious and mutually beneficial relationships between the Employer, the Union and the employees and to set forth herein certain terms and conditions of employment upon which agreement has been reached through collective bargaining.
ARTICLE I - PURPOSE 1.01 The purpose of this Agreement is to secure for the Company and the Union, the full benefits of orderly and legal collective bargaining in respect to hours, wages, working conditions, and to ensure to the utmost extent possible, the safety and physical welfare of the employees, economy of operation, quality and quantity of output and the protection of property. This agreement moreover, seeks to provide for fair and peaceful adjustments of all disputes that may arise between the parties. It is recognized as a duty of the parties hereto and of all employees to co-operate fully, individually and collectively, for the advancement of the conditions set forth herein.
NOW THIS AGREEMENT WITNESSETH AS FOLLOWS 1. In this Agreement words and expressions shall have the same meanings as are respectively assigned to them in the Conditions of Contract referred to.
Permitted Purpose Recipient shall have the right to, and agrees that it will, use Discloser’s Confidential Information solely for the Purpose as described in the License Agreement, except as may be otherwise specified in a separate definitive written agreement negotiated and executed between the parties.
