Common use of Term Length Clause in Contracts

Term Length. The member will commit to 300 hours of service. A member’s term of service will begin no earlier than the day a member passes in their complete enrollment package and all enrollment paperwork is signed by the member, site supervisor, and SOS Campus Partner, and their criminal record check has been cleared by the MDCCC office. Members will have one (1) calendar year (365 consecutive days) from the official enrollment date to complete a 300 hour term of service. SOS Campus Partners will record a member’s official start and end dates according to this schedule. The program and the member may agree, in writing, to extend this term of service for the following reasons: The member’s service has been suspended due to compelling personal circumstances. The member’s service has been terminated, but a grievance procedure has resulted in reinstatement.
