Term and Renewal Options. 1. The term of this Agreement shall commence on the effective date, unless termi- nated by the operation of law or by acts of the parties in accordance with the terms of this Agreement, will remain in effect for year(s) from that date. Licen- see may continue this Agreement for additional one-year periods by payment of the annual fee applicable at the time of each renewal, as provided in Part III of this Agreement.
