Common use of Tenured Clause in Contracts

Tenured. Full-time annually-contracted faculty who are appointed for an indefinite period of time and whose appointment may be revoked only for sufficient cause and by due process as defined by the laws of the State of Washington and this Agreement. With the approval of the Vice President, a tenured faculty member may work less than a full load and be paid his/her regular salary prorated. The Association will be informed of all requests for a reduced load and the disposition of those requests.
