Common use of Tenant’s Waiver Clause in Contracts

Tenant’s Waiver. Landlord and Tenant agree that the provisions of Article 12.3 above are intended to supersede and replace the provisions of California Civil Code 1932(1), 1941 and 1942, and accordingly, Tenant hereby waives the provisions of Section 1932(1), 1941 and 1942 of the California Civil Code and/or any similar or successor Law regarding Tenant's right to terminate this Lease or to make repairs and deduct the expenses of such repairs from the rent due under this Lease. Tenant hereby waives any right of redemption or relief from forfeiture under the Laws of the State of California, or under any other present or future Law, in the event Tenant is evicted or Landlord takes possession of the Leased Premises by reason of any default by Tenant.

Tenant hereby waives any right of redemption or relief from forfeiture under the Laws laws of the State of California, or under any other present or future Lawlaw of a similar nature, including without limitation, California Code of Civil Procedure Section 1179, in the event Tenant is evicted or Landlord takes possession of the Leased Premises by reason of any default by Tenant.
